Re: business license

Hi Marty

What kind of business license are you asking about?  My city requires  
all businesses to have a business license, whether home based or not.

My state doesn't require a business license but if I operate using a  
dba, I have to register that.

A number of years ago, I incorporated so now "my company" is  
registered with the state and has its own tax ID number as well as a  
federal tax ID number.  Those are not, as I understand it, licenses  
however.
