Re: Garden thugs continued....
I wrote a blog post on our experience a while back, which also links to
a video on control (can't actually eradicate it). See

We never had it until the deer ate all the Virginia Creeper. My surmise
is that the shade of the Creeper kept the Mustard seeds from germinating.
Mustard exudes a chemical that kills off the competition by preventing
the germination of native plant and wildflower seeds. Its own seeds can
survive on the forest floor for five to ten years.
Our own control program is paying off -- White Snakeroot is pushing the
mustard out. At least it's native. And deer won't eat it.
