video channel

For the last little while I've been making video and having some good
success with it and I've decided to share some of that success with fellow
garden writers.

If you're making video and have made more than 2 or 3, then contact me
offlist and I'd be pleased to upload  your code to the video channel
http://video.douggreensgarden.com

This is for individual garden writers and not for "corporate promotional
video" (and yeah, I get to act as editor on this for any gray zones) :-)
I'm looking for folks who have decided to incorporate video into their
website operations and I'd love to work with you on this.  If you're going
to be making video as an ongoing venture, we need to work together.

If you have video then you need to provide me (again offlist) with a text
introduction to each video (remember that google currently searches on text
and vided filename) and the location of the embed code.

I'll take it from there and upload your embed code.  And if you're producing
video - yes, you'll get your own category (A-name) on the site.

You'll see there are no ads on this site, I think what collecting our videos
simply does is float all our boats a little higher.  We all benefit from
having garden video in one place.

And yes, this is step one in a process I have in mind.  If this works, we
expand. If it doesn't - we all get some free publicity with increased
traffic.
