recommend a chainsaw?

Nan - At the risk of my macho cred I'll tell you that I bought a small (14") electric Craftsman brand chainsaw at Sears 25 years ago (yes, 1985) and have used it every year, some years quite a lot, and it is still going strong. It has never let me down, has cut through everything I've thrown at it, (some too large I will admit, but it did it). It does require some periodic maintainence (sharpening, chain replacement, oiling, cleaning after each use) but it has done me well. It's not as tough as a good gas powered model to be sure, but if all you want it for is pruning it (or whatever more recent version exists) is perfect. The only qualification I would add is that I would wonder if the manufacturing quality is as good today as it was then.....

fruit trees?

Preferably electric

Thanks
