Re: how do you feel about providing ppt after a talk?

If your talk is more than reading points off a screen, and it /should /be, the actual images are meaningless without your delivery. For us garden writers/speakers, the images serve to illustrate and enhance what we say and they need our comments. They are also how we make our living. For me, if I'm asked before, during or after the talk to provide the presentation the answer is NO. You never know where it will end up.
I tell anyone who asks that they are welcome to record my presentation for their membership. If they want the visuals they can video the talk, and I will send a word file of my handout...but never the visuals alone.
