The  email below was   forwarded  to me yesterday. ( I am a  Garden Design
staff 
writer -- have been  since 1996. )

  This email is incorrect. The" magazine as it currently exists" is 
NOT  being shut down .and relaunched. The owner is moving the 
editorial offices to Florida to save money, since he already has a 
major publishing operation there. Some of the staff will surely 
change since some will not want to  relocate, but that is pretty 
normal. I work from a home office, and I am  definitely staying with 
the magazine.

But more to the point, there is no name change, direction change, 
redesign or cessation of publication in the offing.  As far as 
readers, contributors and advertisers are concerned , Garden Design 
will be the same magazine as it is today.

Please feel free to forward this email to you to any others  who you 
sent the first email to.   This is a pretty nasty rumor and it is 
best to nip these things in the bud.  Thanks very much.

Do you know what Gardenwriters@topica.com is? I think that is where 
this message originated.
