Re: Query
The National Park Service should be able to provide data on Tamarisk (Tamarix
spp), aka salt cedar, an invasive planted early this century to control
erosion on irrigation channels. Bad choice. One salt cedar can drink 200 gallons a
day, and they can take over to the tune of 3 or 4,000 trees per acre.
