Now what?

I wish someone could explain something. We have a perfectly good list
specifically for discussions of gardening created just for the members of
the garden writers list. So what happens? At least a third of the members
leave that list. THEN we get garden discussions on THIS list. The rose
discussion I could accept because it evolved out of a question concerning
material for an article. But now we get straight garden questions with no
prelude, nothing.
Has the GWL run it's course? Is it time to fold it up? I've been
moderating some of the members, but it's just not worth it when I still have
to keep reminding people that this list is for discussion of garden WRITING.
Aren't there any more questions about publishers, contracts, photos,
finding good editors, how to market yourself, catalog writing, speaking
engagements, new horticultural products, even news about the publishing
world, or...?
