Title: Watch out for garden art Here's a very good reason to be careful about recommending some kinds of garden art to your readers. This might be one very good reason to "buy American" .
Longhorn beetle larvae found in imported garden art North American Plant Protection Org. announced that live larvae of Lamiinae and Callidiellum (longhorn beetle species) were found in wooden garden art imported from China by McCann Bros. and distributed by White Flower Farm <http://www.whiteflowerfarm.com> . The pests were found in Wisconsin and Florida in the Internet retailer's "rustic twig tower," a 5-foot arbor constructed of hardwood twigs and vines. White Flower Farm issued a recall. (301) 734-5394.
