Annual GWL Gathering

I'm starting early to make arrangements for the annual GWL listserv cocktail 
party at the GWA Symposium in Vancouver.  Many thanks to C.L. Fornari and 
others who staged the gathering last year when I was elsewhere watching my 
son get married.

The party will be on Friday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. in the Gallery Lounge off the 
main lobby of the Hyatt Regency in Vancouver.  Regional meetings are at 1:45 
p.m. and the newcomers meeting is at 3:00 p.m.  The Garden Products 
Exhibition opens at  4 p.m., but the reception with appetizers and drinks 
isn't until 6:30 p.m.  So our party should be a nice way to warm up for the 
rest of the evening.  If the past is any indicator, fun will be had by all!

Remember that this is a BYOD (buy your own drinks) event, but appetizers 
will be provided by some of us generous types.  Any volunteers??

Let me know if you plan to attend, so I can give the hotel an approximate 
head count.  They will need to set up tables, etc. in advance.
