Re: self publishing

And that is a problem in some areas.  All books that are reviewed by the press that I write for have to be listed on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and be available thru the local bookstore.  This rather limits the reviews to those published via the self publishing network.  Until that hurdle is over, the self- publishing is going to be a limited market as far as national coverage.  I should also note that not all newspapers welcome book reviews at all, unless it is aimed toward the Christmas gift market (or some other such event).  So perhaps that is not such a problem as other avenues have to be explored by us all.
