Re: An update on Penn Allied Nursery Trade Show

That's Great! I'm judging the booths on Monday night and then doing the
show on Tuesday. I will be in Atlantic City on Wednesday because Sara and I
are taking a couple of days vacation. I've never spent any time in AC since
the casinos have been built. We don't gamble but there's a lot of other
stuff to do. See you on the beach.

Hi Group:

I've been asked by PLNA to get the word out to my address book about
the upcoming Penn Allied Nursery Trade Show. It's moved from Fort
Washington, PA to Atlantic City this year. It's a great line up of
educational sessions, special tours, and of course one of the largest
nursery trade shows of the summer.

Next year, I plan on having our summer regional meeting scheduled in
Atlantic City to overlap its dates. But why wait? Here's the info and a
web link. Check it out.

Kirk

Do you want the opportunity to talk with hundreds of green industry
companies under one roof for FREE? How about learning what you can do to get
the edge on the competition? That’s exactly what you can do at the 34th
annual Penn Atlantic Trade Show (PANTS) being held July 25-27 at the
Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ!

How you can get the edge at PANTS:

§ Talk to over 650 exhibiting companies occupying 1,200 booths
displaying green goods and allied products for garden centers, landscape
contractors and growers

§ Network with thousands of attendees at the largest summer green
industry show on the east coast

§ Gain knowledge through the top-notch educational programs starting
on Monday (all day) and continuing each morning through Thursday, designed
to help increase garden center, landscape contracting and grower sales and
profitability

§ Stay cutting edge by participating in the FREE demonstrations on the
show floor or by attending the Growers and Garden Tours

§ Improve your business while taking care of your family! Bring your
family and extend your stay. With great hotel room rates and lots of
exciting things to do in Atlantic City, you can’t find a better deal!

For more information on how you can get the edge and register for PANTS,
please visit our Web site at www.pantshow.com! And if you register by July
14, your trade show registration is FREE and you can take advantage of
valuable discounts on the education and special events.

Region II Members:

I didn't see the broadcast E-mail that was supposed to go out to the Region
II members, so if you have news/views for this month's GWA newsletter,
please send them to me.

It's been a busy month and I don't want to miss any of the happenings!

Also, we're having a Region II meeting at Rutgers Arboretum on Friday June
23. Details will follow, but if you want to come, contact me off list.

See you in the Brandywine Valley in August! It's truly going to be a
not-to-be-missed experience!
