Home Depot change

Home Depot has announced that it will apply its "Good/Better/Best" policy to
its garden departments. "Best" will be represented by the Viva and Proven
Winners brands, "Better" by HD's house brand Vigaro, and "Good" by generic
grower products.
How will this affect consumers? Will it result in more, or less, selection
for gardeners? And how will it affect garden writers trying to inform readers
about what's really being sold? I'm not overly familiar with Viva, but PW's a
ttitude toward accurate plant names is cavalier at best. Sometimes the
binomials are buried, sometimes they're missing entirely.
Is this important only to nattering nerds of nomenclature, like me?
