Them dang feisty Canadians are infecting our impressionable gardeners with  
their radical notions, like this wild idea that you should be able to walk on  
your lawn in your bare feet. Such ideas are the cerebral equivalent of  
Canadian thistles: Once they've sunk their roots in fertile soil, they're  difficult 
to extract.
At least we're safe from their beer, which has even less flavor -- sorry,  
flavour -- than the stuff most folks drink down here.
