    I don't know if any of my information would be useful.  I have published 
and just revised Don't Throw it Grow it  for Storey Publications and I put out 
a newsletter for the Rare Pit and Plant Council  A.K>A The Pits that was 
dedicated to growing tropical fruits from seed..  I have been growing tropical 
seeds from ethnic markets for at least 30 years and growing them as houseplants.  
I don't know if that kind of information would be useful to you.  Currently 
my Loquat is in flower,  the Guava is getting ready, the various citrus are in 
fruit and flower.
    Do you know anything about 'irradiation' that the government does to all 
imported fruits?
