Re: compiling a Twitter list

I think it is a no-brainer that our Twitter address, Facebook pages,  
LinkedIn etc. be added to our membership profiles (should we choose to fill out  
those fields) in the print and online version of the Member Directory. This  
group is about COMMUNICATION foremost and it is silly for the association 
to not  be at the forefront of all these methods of interaction.

Since I started it -- this time -- I have been  keeping a list of those who 
chimed in with their Twitter addresses the past  few days. So far, the 
number is surprisingly low. Only 17 so far, I  think. (Some people on the list 
may be on vacation, of course.) If anyone  wants the whole list, just let me 
know. I've saved it as a Word  doc.

If you want the GWA board to consider adding Twitter  address (or Facebook, 
Linked In, whatever) to the GWA directory information,  I'd suggest that 
you e-mail Bob Lagasse at HQ or talk with a board memeber.
