Please don't repeat the messages
Hi all!
It looks like folks are having a great summer! We are here in Alaska
AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PALIN!
Friends, once again, please do not include the entire message when you
reply. We are having social networking stuff taught at the GWA meeting
and this is one of the things they will teach. Do not repeat the
entire message. It is rude in electronic terms. In fact, if you change
the subject entry to indicate your subject matter, you don't need to
repeat any of the message.
Look at it this way....YOU know to what you are responding. If you are
worried the person you are writing to doesn't understand to what you
are referring, your message isn't a communicative one and you may need
to improve your writing skills.
You would not include the entire former message in a typed or
handwritten letter, so why here?
Some of you need to turn off your "auto append" feature on your email.
Thanks!
Cheers,
Jeff L, the grump who uses his iPhone
