Posting Problems

Several GWL members have reported that they receive posts, but they cannot post.  I've forwarded several of their messages in the last few days.

The biggest reason a post is rejected by the automated listserv software is that there are Cc: and/or numerous other receipients.  It looks like Spam to the software and is rejected.

To insure your posts are distributed, heed the following:

1.  Make sure you are sending the post from the email address that is subscribed.  Many of you have more than one email address.  You MUST post from the subscribed email address.  The automated software will NOT recognize any other email address.

2.  Do NOT include any other receipients in either the To: or Cc: or Bc: lines.  The software reads it as Spam.

3.  Do NOT attach anything.  Attachments are summarily stripped, and the software usually rejects the message, too.
