don't need no lawyer friend (even though I do have some)
suggest to your daughter that she began to organise her community to get rid
of chemicals by instituting a ban on the use of pesticides for cosmetic
purposes (make sure that coffee, salt, sugar and gasoline are not included
on that list)
(agreement or disagreement is not the point of the exercise)
get a concerned citizen's coalition struck up,(coalition is a good word for
this) and hold a townhall meeting.
invite politicians of course, and include some local media in order to offer
up soundbites to the politicians...they love soundbites, can't resist 'em
and before they know it, they're on record.
should take less than a year, and folks in her neighbourhood will actually
be planting clover as an undercover crop to their fescues and creeping ryes.
actually, she wouldn't have to do any of this, just print up some posters
advertising same and tack them up in appropriate places for the homeowner
association members to see.
