Pesticide Use
Poison Ivy is my nemesis this week and I can't take mess with it. So I
use Bonide's Stump Out and Vine Killer. It is a high concentrate of
Triclopyr - 8.8 percent. It comes is a small bottle with a built in
dobber - think shoe polish. You carefully paint it on six inches of
the stem and in a few day the stuff is deader than door nail and there
is very little negative impact on the surrounding area or its
inhabitants. In a case like this I think using the big gun according
to package directions is appropriate. See below for Bonide website
info.
