Re: Gardens to see on way to NJ Regional MTG?

Kathy,

Here are links to all the public gardens in NJ. Short list
http://www.gardenstategardens.org/ and long list
http://www.plantsgalore.com/data/gardens/01-NJ-Garden.aspx . The Leonard
Buck gardens is close by Willowwood, as is the Cross Estate and Duke
Farms (not sure it's re-opened yet). Less in a straight line along your
route is the Rutgers Gardens. The Morven Gardens, also along your way,
are at the former governor's mansion (national historic landmark) and
have heirloom plants from the 18th and 19th centuries. Not to be
provincial, but NJ really does have everything. It all depends upon what
you want to see.

Regards,
Lois
