Re: Novocaine for deer repellent?
Gloria, I sprayed my Magnolia and Hydrangeas with it in November. I
applied it again in March. My butterflies mag has been in the ground
for 4 years. I had never seen a blossom as the deer browsed all the
buds in early spring. This spring the mag was untouched and full of
blossoms. Also, my Oakleaf Hydrangea which was also heavily browsed in
past years and is covered with blooms. This in a year with heavy snow
cover and the deer went after blue spruce and Austrian Pines. I had
deer tracks in my yard, but the plants I sprayed were left undamaged.

PS I too have used the auto spritzer. Problem is, I have way too much
area, I'd need a dozen of them. And, they do not work winter, when the
need is greatest. NANCY
