Re: Camera question

I carry a Pentax WG-1 which I dearly love. Ther is probably an updated model. It is literally pocket sized, instead of carrying a backpack with two or three Nikons with associated accessories. It has many more features than I can understand. But what I love most about the Pentax is that it focuses down to one millimeter and, since the camera blocks all light at that distance, it has built in ring lights. Betty Mackey recommended it to me, and I thank her for that.

Subject: [GWL] Camera question

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a point-and-shoot camera for under $200? I'm looking for a birthday gift for my (adult) daughter. It needs to fit in her pocket.

Thanks for any advice.
Linda Nitchman
