Re: Apps? Anyone use this place?

Betty (and all) there's a website that takes some of the worry out of
new/unfamiliar web addresses. It's Scan Url  http://scanurl.net/  and many
of the SysOps/moderators/managers on CompuServe forums use it to check out
links, especially those of new posters.  There are others, but this is the
one I use most frequently to check.
It won't tell you if the organization/app is any good, but it will tell you if there is phishing/malware, or other immediate problems with it.
