be interested in.
I sent the photos to the GWL photo web site (at the bottom of this and every
GWL posting) for you to look at. Dave is NOT a member of the list at the
moment, so you need to reply directly to him and give your qualifications
for the project.

Subject: RE: Potted plants?

Hello Lon,

Say, we are involved in a couple of breeding programs that are specifically
developing ornamental blueberries. Over the next 5+ years I anticipate
having a number of advanced selections coming out that I would like to get
evaluated around the country. I especially would like serious gardeners and
garden writers. We would supply a few plants no charge, under a
non-propagation agreement. The recipient would provide us a very brief
annual report on the plants from a form that we would supply.

Are you interested in being involved in this? Do you know of of anyone else
around the country that would also? We would like to include the major
zones- mostly Northwest, California, South, East Coast, Midwest. Our
parameters-

Good gardeners
Successfully grows blueberries or small fruits now.
Secure site (varieties would eventually be patented)
Good follow-through.

I am very excited about some of our new selections. I have included two
images FYI. The shot of 97-129 was taken in February. It stays bright
burgandy all winter in our climate. The shot of 95-12 is a summer shot.

Thanks!
Dave
