Re: Invasive Plants

For anyone interested in this subject vis-a-vis woodlands, I recommend reading The Once and Future Forest by Leslie Jones Sauer, Island Press, Washington, D.C., 1998. Appendix B contains a list of Invasive Exotics of the Eastern Forest which is extremely valuable to anyone trying to reforest or preserve woodlands -- of whatever size --  throughout the East. While the list, according to the author, is not comprehensive, it certainly contains all the real "baddies."
