That "crank" in Canada, in my home town of Hamilton, Ont., was a woman who
objected to the puck landing in her garden and the galumphing kids stomping
on her plants to get it back. My sympathies were and are solidly with her
and her plants. You wouldn't believe the abuse she suffered after she
objected to kids wrecking her garden. Some of the worst abuse came from the
parents who didn't seem to feel that their kids should respect other folks'
properties. There are two sides to every story!
