FYI this has happened to me on another list. I was informed by the other
list manager that occasionally a glitch, bug, or virus in one's own e-mail
can trigger an automatic deletion from a list-serve. Without going into all
the possibilities, a glitch in your e-mail that responds automatically
(though accidentally) to all address served by the list or replicates return
addresses can be detected by the list-serve host and the individual list
administrator will never know it.

Rather than assuming a hacker, I would assume a glitch in that persons
e-mail and simply ask them to re-subscribe.
