Re: Dumb Digital Question...

When someone emails a digital photo to me at 300dpi with a size of 4x6
in jpg...why does it degrade to a lesser resolution when I email it along?
I don't save it or touch it, I just email it direct. My editor wants the photo
at 300dpi 4x6 size. How can I get it to him without it "changing" as it
goes "through" my computer?

The first part I will let someone else answer, but I do know that having sent photos to various folk who then send them to the publication, it tends to cause problems.  Generally they send me the email to the publication person and I then send it direct with no problems.
