Portland, OR Gardens

Dear All:
I am going out to the west coast before GWA and traveling from garden to garden, starting in San Francisco - mainly  "collecting seeds" for future writing and 
speaking.  Most of the trip is planned, but I'm looking for a couple private gardens in the Portland, OR area to visit.  Any suggestions?
