Long before the internet was an issue we had to deal with the potential  that 
anyone could photo copy anything we wrote and pass it along to friends and  
others en mass.  Those of us who teach have been guilty of this  infraction.  
We had no control then and we have no control now, unless of  course you catch 
someone and are willing to pursue legal action.  Ethics at  what cost?
