Re: Compost Tea Debate on Rant


While I haven't read Jeff's comments I did read a recent article in Turf  
magazine that discusses microbial inoculants and I would think that compost teas  
fall into this category of biostimulants.  The article quotes Frank Rossi,  
associate professor at Cornell University as saying "For those people who are  
using these inoculants, I think they are deceiving themselves,"...  The  
artcile refers to the use of these products on golf courses and Rossi seems to  say 
that there is no scientific research showing that these products work.   Hey, 
I'm just the Messinger.  I use them but it is food for thought.
