I have it, too, Carolyn, and love the fragrance so much that I dug it up at 
my house in Wisconsin and replanted it in my Illinois garden when I moved 
about five years ago.  If you grow it organically, the petals added to black 
tea leaves make a fragrant, fruit tea.  I dry the petals for tea and for 
vinegars.  The best remedy for black spot, BTW, is to spray every week or 
two with neem seed oil.
