If you're an organizer/activist type, you can help by getting some people
and groups together in your state to ask that your first family savor their
independence by eating locally July 4th.

Maine's first family (the Baldaccis) is already on board and has given us
their menu for the day:

Maine Lobster & Clams (purchased from Hallowell Seafood & sourced from the
Boothbay Harbor Lobster & Fisherman)
Potato Salad (Maine potatoes)
Green Salad (lettuce mixes, spinach & radishes coming from the garden at the
governor's residence)
Maine Strawberry Short cake (Strawberries from the Underwood farm of
Fairfield)
