Indeed it is. I pulled out some of my notebooks -- I never throw anything 
away, and my study is evidence of that -- and checked the syllabus of the 
1975 Master Gardener course. It was taught by some of the near-giants in 
their fields --Len Topoloeski on vegetables, Ernie Schaufler on flowers. 
Those were the days.
