I'm puzzled by all the fuss about one person thinking $50.00 is too low to act on. A range in pay is SOP in all businesses. One actor will perform for free or another for minimum wage while a third won't even look at a script unless they're offered millions. One speaker is happy with $100. while another charges hundreds of thousands. Every person in every field needs to "start where you are," make personal decisions that make sense to you, see what the market will bear, and go from there. And aren't most of us are working to get to a place where we can say "It's not worth my time for that amount of money"?
