Re: National Pastime
When I was in England a few years ago, I asked the bus driver who was from
Wales, if he had a garden.
"Yes," he said.
"What do you have growing there?" I asked.
"Lawn," he said.
"Do you have any flowers?" I asked.
"No, just lawn," he said.
Which makes me wonder how do the Brits (or Welsh) define a garden?
