Sheri,
most text will convert perfectly.  However, I have come across serious (and 
sneaky) problems with symbols in the page layout program Quark Xpress when 
going from Mac to PC and back.  Odd little square boxes appeared where I had 
inch marks, and 4-foot grasses became 4-cent grasses.  If your printer uses 
Quark, which is pretty standard these days, then whoever's doing their final 
proofing must be very alert for such things.
