Re: Literary agents

GWL: Had to jump into this exchange. If you have an old-fashioned hand-shake
and no contract agent who takes a ten percent commission, hang on to him or
her. The same thing that has infected the world of publishing has infected
the world of agents and there are few out there who actually dedicate their
work to bettering their clients. Many of them thought that being an agent
for a writer was an automatic trip to the stars. Best, Peter
