That is a great article.  I highly recommend that any published or 
aspiring book author print it out and put it in a file called "contract 
issues."   Many of Carol Deppe's excellent comments to us on contract 
matters (from several months ago) should be printed out and put in this 
file as well.  It's helpful to have one place to go to find all this 
information when you are about to sign a contract.
