Listmates -

I am pleased to inform my fellow listmates my new book "Grasses" (with
author Nancy Ondra) has just been published and has been picked up by
several book clubs.  I spent most of last year photographing ornamental
grasses in some of the finest gardens in the United States looking for
real, on-site design usage of this group of plants.  The diversity 
form, color, and seasonal use is remarkable.  I only wish we could have
done a book twice as large to include more variety (although we did
manage to get in a few Restios, Bamboos, Carex, and Phormiums).  I hope
any of you garden writers who have a passion for grasses will get a bit
re-energized by this book.  I was in doing it; they are not "old news".

Storey Books did a fabulous job with design and color separations, so I
am pleased to offer autographed copies (at $19.95 US retail plus
