RE: Webseed

Fellow Webseeders,

I, too, run a webseed site (

www.intriguinginsects.com) which is fun - but still a long way from earning me my first check (cheque!) from its content. As I actually pay for my time on the internet (free access is still unheard of here in Italy), it probably costs me more to maintain than I earn from it. It looks like I've also been hit by the recent search engine changes as my number of hits per month is way down.

Having said that, out of the blue, I have just been offered a nice one-off payment from an advertiser who enjoyed one of my articles and wanted his company's link right next to it. I'd rather not pay for the site, but I guess I'll have to keep it going for another year to keep this chap happy! - or refund his check (cheque!).

By the way - those of you with an interested in bumblebees might like this week's feature article ;-)
