Brook, that is a magnificent ending for this friendly dust-up.  Lest ye 
be too jealous -- we had snow on the ground for a week a couple weeks 
ago, and it had been so long since I had seen any that I hadn't been 
thinking of snow at all when I tarped over the duck deck, and snow is 
heavy.  At least the ducks really liked the snow where it broke through 
the tarp.  I'm going out to pick weeds out of the garlic now, which is 
ever so much more fun than it used to be, because each and every duck 
will quack loudly and cheer me on.  They can see the garlic patch from 
the duck deck, and they know they get all the weeds.  I'm converting my 
garden totally to a duck-based economy -- importing duck chow and hay 
instead of fertilizer, then using the pooping hay for garden nutrients.  
Duck chow and hey in, duck eggs and vegetables out.  Bye till tomorrow, 
Brook and all.
