Now you've made mother nature grumpy

Leapin' lizards....! I just received this email from Mother Nature herself!
She's asked me to pass it on.

"I know I am a mild-mannered, non-violent mythical creature, Gandhi-like
and all, but I couldn't help thinking (especially as this is Good Friday,
the day Jesus purportedly was nailed to a cross because of folks being on a
'strong negative position'....) that if people who are in love with Me, Mom
Nature...garden writers, like you'all....can't even be nice....well, does
the world have any hope? Should I be looking for work in another area,
say....weapons manufacturing? 

I made you into garden writers for one reason, and that is to share your
love of me, and of course, all my Creatures. Should I be moving out to the
toolies and taking my stationery bicycle-powered generator?

Please do lighten up, wise garden writers, you charming folk-of-the-woods.
If you are upset, "take a moment" like the guy on Allie McBeal.....do some
deep breathing. Go for a walk, go and get a massage. Go outside and smell
the flowers - get back in touch with Me. I seriously doubt if  emails about
my humble little weeds or what you had or did not have to take in
university are worthy of such up-tight, venomous communication.  

This isn't grumpiness, it's absurd. And I won't have it. I don't want to
hear you yelling at your husband or watch you kicking your dog, either. If
you must, go at each other privately. Then you can kiss and make up
afterward. It reminds me too much of the state of the world, and I don't
want to wake up to this kind of  negative communication - in case you
haven't noted, life is too short." 

This email was signed "Mom Nature".
