Re: Gardening w/o man-made chemicals


Having kids around is another factor to consider when choosing the method
to attack a weed. My "lawn" is full of weeds, dating from the time I did
daycare. Now I like the meadow look. Boiling water also worked well on
the biting ants in the sandbox. No way would I put poison, even a poison
which becomes inert quickly, where kids play.
