Title: Re: [GWL] How much do you tell your readers?
While I agree with much that has been said on this topic, I have
one caveat: Be very very sure that what you are writing
is scientifically accurate. Many times, the media (us included)
provide information on problems with contamination, disease, etc that
is either not scientifically based or is poorly interpreted. We
need to take our responsibility very seriously in reporting on these
kinds of issues and for those who are not versed in interpreting
scientific data, it is their responsibility to find someone who is and
have them interpret the data.
