Re: Digital Cameras

Question for you photographers out there.

My husband wants to get a digital camera. Photos taken will go on a professionally- designed web site and some may be enlarged to as much as 8.5 x 11 inches, for publication in brochures. (Think political web site and literature -- he's running for reelection.) Any words of wisdom for the two of us, who know virtually nothing about digital cameras? (We've a bit of dinosaur blood in us -- I'm still using a 1970 Canon TL/QL and love it; he still has his Canon AT-1, but he needs something for web use as well.)
