Title: FW: Gardenwriters upload disabled
As you can see from the piece below, the GWL Wiki, which was to be used to post material to use on the GWL website has been disabled due to hackers.
   Given how little the GWL Wiki and website have been used, plus the fact that the people who were going to work on the site haven't done much of anything, I'm in favor of pulling both the wiki and the website.  In order to even keep the website going, we would need someone who can reliably work on it and develop it, and since it's all volunteer work, I don't see that happening.  
   I will entertain suggestions from the group, but if there is nothing concrete, I will ask the person who established the site for both the wiki and the GWL site to pull the plug on them in two days.

Hello,

The unrestricted php upload located at:

http://www.ibiblio.org/gardenwriters/gwlwiki/index.php/Upload%20Files

Has been disabled.  Hackers took control of this upload and placed many
illegal and potentially harmful pieces of software on our servers.  We'd
like to find out the maintiner of the site, and discuss strategies for
resolving the situation.  Until then, the php upload is disabled, as is
the directory where people can download files.
