Funny, I was thinking about this Saturday as I pruned grapevines on an overhead arbor (no small task). I seem to write wonderful articles in my head as I am working in the garden. Seems like once my body is in motion doing one thing, my mind is free to create - I find myself telling myself stories and I often wish I had a pad of paper or a recorder in my pocket so I could speak what is running through my head and then transcribe it later. I'll try that one day.
So my suggestion is this: go do something completely different that absorbs you physically but leaves your mind free to roam. The ideas will flow.
