Chlorine is a deadly toxic gas. Only 8/100ths of one percent in the air
you breathe will kill you in minutes. Yet we intentionally put it in the
water we drink. We pour it in our swimming pools and let our children
jump into it. We even keep highly concentrated solutions of it under our
kitchen sinks. Chlorine kills people every year.

Arsenic is a poor poison. When fed in large quantities to people
intentionally in an attempt to kill them, it often just makes them sick.
It is part of our body's chemical make up. We eat it gladly in potatoes
and shrimp. It is a natural element that is in most soils and much pure
spring water.

Why are we so frightened of arsenic that we won't use soil that has been
near something that touched something that had minute amounts of arsenic
in it while we treat chlorine, a much more toxic substance, so casually?
